What do you think about Firman?

Ive been looking at some FIrman generator reviews and they're all over the place with plenty of pros and cons, so is something like this worth considering? The reason why I'm asking is because there's a guy in my area selling one.

The brands are all commodities nowadays, more or less.

Buying used, you have to focus on the condition of THAT one generator, and decide if "the deal" is good--knowing you'll be stuck with whatever problems you may have failed to identify before the sale.

Firman's decent for the price, it has good power output, but not as refined or quiet as premium brands. If the local one's low-hours, well-maintained, and priced right, it could be a good buy.
