Would anyone know if Westinghouse iGen4500 is a good generator? Saw somewhere that it was showing it running past 4,000 hours and the oil changes were done every 700 hours or so! i guess this is a solid choice or is it? Checking out options before actually getting one. alternatives are welcome!

Westinghouse is a popular unit for a reason but you should definitely take that 700-hr oil change claim with a massive grain of salt. The key to getting 4000 hrs out of any of these small engines is changing the oil every 100 hrs at the absolute most. What are you planning to power with it, is this for an RV, home backup or something else entirely?

The iGen4500 is a good pick. It's quiet, fuel-efficient, and great for RVs or backup power. As for alternatives, you might want to consider the Honda EU3000iS, pretty good too

Heard some reviews about the remote start, that it can be a bit finicky sometimes, but apart from that I think you're good

Absolutely, the iGen4500 is a great choice. The Honda EU3000iS is also dependable, but it has a lower wattage and comes at a higher price. It really comes down to what your power requirements are.
