Hi all,
I have a duromax xp9500iH generator on an off grid solar set up. I use it as a back up when the solar and battery isn’t sufficient.
I am running one leg of the 50amp outlet at 120 volts. However the overload protection light comes on and shuts the power off at around 33-34amps / 3.7 KW. It’s not tripping a breaker, just the overload protection light comes on and kills the power to that outlet.
Also I have removed the ground neutral bond because it is bonded at the panel that it’s sending power to.
I THINK, I should be able to get closer to 50amps than that from that outlet.
Any ideas?
Thanks!!
