Need an opinion on a generator

My neighbor has a Generac diesel generator that he plans on selling and offed it to me. It's a 6500 and I have two questions about it. How's the quality on these and are they reliable. Also, is 6500w enough for my use case? I'm not looking for too much, basic amenities, tv, charger, washer, water heater and lights, stuff like that.

Generac diesel generators are generally reliable and well-built and I think a 6500W unit should handle basic essentials...TV, charger, lights, maybe a washer, but likely not a water heater at the same time

@UntainableRobert I agree with @MrRichard about the reliability and the water heater is the wild card, if it's electric, that alone can eat most of the output. If it's gas with just an electric igniter, you're fine
